Chicken lollipop

Ingredients:
Lollipop chicken - 6 pieces
All purpose flour / maida - 1/4 cup
Corn flour - 1/4 cup
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp(optional)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tblspn
Ginger - 1 tblspn
Garlic - 1 tsp
Black pepper - 1 tsp
Red chilli paste - 2 tblspn (or 1 tblspn red chilli sauce)
Tomato Ketchup - 2 tblspn
Tomato Ketchup - 2 tblspn
Soy sauce - 1 tblspn
Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
Onion - 2 tblspn
Sugar - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Spring onion - 2 tblspn
Oil - to deep fry
Method:
Take the chicken drummet in a chopping board start to make lollipop by pushing the chicken flesh to the top end from the thinner side so that the bottom side has no meat in it. Repeat the process for the other legs.
In a bowl, take corn flour, all purpose flour(maida), ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, pepper powder, salt to taste and garam masala(optional). Make a thick batter by adding very little water.
Pour this marinade into the chicken drumsticks and mix well. Marinate it for 30 minutes.
Heat oil to deep fry and drop the chicken drumsticks coated with the batter. Once the chicken gets cooked well, drain the fried chicken in a paper towel.
Now, for the schezwan style chicken, heat little oil in a pan. Add finely chopped garlic and saute for few seconds.
Then, add in finely chopped spring onion(or normal onion). Once onion becomes translucent, add in chilli sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup, salt and sugar. Add 1/4 cup of water and make a thick sauce.
Drop the fried chicken into the prepared sauce and toss well until it is nicely coated. Garnish with spring onion green.

Once the chicken gets cooked well, drain the fried chicken in a paper towel. |

Then, add in finely chopped spring onion(or normal onion). |
Saute till the onion becomes soft |
Add 1/2 tsp of vinegar |
Then, add the soy sauce |
2 tablespoon of red chilli sauce or red chilli paste is added |
Then, add 2 tablespoon of tomato ketchup |
Add 1/4 cup of water and make a thick sauce |
Drop the fried chicken into it |
Toss well and garnish with spring onion green or coriander powder |
Serve! |
