Almond Chicken Kebab

For 1st Marination:
Chicken - 1/4 kg
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tblspn
Lemon juice - 1 tblspn
For 2nd marination:
Chilli powder - 1 tsp to 3 tsp(adjust to taste)
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Curd - 1/4 cup
Fresh cream - 1/4 cup
Almond / Badam - 15
Corn flour - 2 tblspn
Oil - 2 tblspn
Salt - to taste
Butter - 2 tsp (to baste chicken)
Wash the chicken and pat dry with a paper towel. Make small slits on both the sides.
Take the chicken in a large mixing bowl, add chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and lemon juice. Rub well and marinate the chicken for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, soak the almond and grind it to a smooth paste.
Take the ground almond in a mixing bowl, add the ingredients given for 2nd Marination (chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, corn flour, curd, fresh cream, oil and salt). Mix it well and pour it to the marinated chicken. Rub this paste all over the chicken and marinate it for 2 to 3 hrs.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grill the chicken for 20 to 30 minutes in the upper rack. Turn the sides in between and baste the chicken with butter.
Serve with green chutney.
|Keep all your ingredients ready. Wash the chicken and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut them into small chunks. Make slits on both sides if using drumstick or chicken thighs.|

|corn flour is added|
|Peel the skin of almond|
|Grind it to a paste. If you feel difficult to grind, add the curd mixture and grind it to a smooth paste|
|Add this paste to the spice mixture prepared|
|Add in oil and salt. Mix it well.|
|Pour it to the marinated chicken.|
|Rub this paste all over the chicken|
|and marinate it for 2 to 3 hrs.|
|Soak the skewers for 15 minutes|
|Add in cubed onion, capsicum and deseeded tomato. This is optional|
|Smear some butter on the top|
|Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grill the chicken for 20 to 30 minutes in the upper rack.(Temperature of oven to oven varies so baking time differs)|
|Turn the sides in between and baste the chicken with butter.|
|Serve as a starter or side dish for any of your favourite main course.|
