Amritsari fish fry

Ingredients:
Fish - 250 gm
Besan flour - 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tblspn
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp (adjust to taste)
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric - a pinch
Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/4 tsp
Egg - 1
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - to deep fry
Method:
Take besan flour, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, turmeric, ajwain, lemon juice and salt in a mixing bowl. Make a smooth paste and marinade the fish with the batter. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
Crack an egg and whisk it. Add the egg mixture to the marinated fish.
Heat oil for deep frying. Once oil becomes hot, add the fish. Fry till it turns golden and cooked. Drain excess oil in a kitchen towel.

Combine everything |
into a thick batter |
Now, add the cleaned fish |
Rub the batter to coat evenly into the fish |
Crack an egg into the bowl and whisk it |
Add the whisked egg into the fish |
Coat evenly |
Heat oil in a pan deep or shallow fry the fish |
Serve! |
