Cabbage Thoran
Ingredients:
Cabbage - 2cups
Onion - 1
Green chilli - 3
Coconut (grated) - 1/2 cup
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 2 sprig
Coconut oil - 2 tblspn
Salt - to taste
Method:
Finely chop cabbage and keep aside.
Cut onion and green chilly. Grind together coconut and cumin without adding water.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. When it begin to crackle, add onion, green chilli and curry leaves. Cook on medium flame, sauté until onion becomes translucent.
Then add finely chopped cabbage. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
Cover the pan and cook for 5 mins. Stir well in between.
Add coarsely ground coconut cumin paste, salt and turmeric. Stir well to mix it evenly. Once cooked, remove from flame.
Enjoy!
Note:

- Do not add water as cabbage will become soggy. If necessary sprinkle little water.
