Beetroot - 1
Onion - 1
Green chilli - 2
Coconut (grated) - 1/4 cup
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1tsp
Curry leaves - 2 sprig
Coconut oil - 3tblspn
Salt - to taste
Peel and grate the beetroot. Keep aside.
Finely slice onion and green chilli. Grind together coconut and cumin coarsely without water.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. When it splutters add onion, green chilli and curry leaves. Sauté for a couple of mins.
Now add grated beetroot and saute for a min. Stir occasionally.
When it is cooked add salt and ground coconut,cumin. Stir well for 2mins and remove from flame.
