Coriander coconut chutney is an excellent combination for idli and dosa. It is very easy and quick to make. Coconut gives a very nice texture and this chutney has a very pleasant color. And of course, it taste great as well.
Ingredients:
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
Green Chilli - 3
Tamarind - little
Salt - to taste
Oil - few drops
Water - as needed
Method:
Wash and finely chop coriander leaves.
Heat a few drops of oil, add tamarind and chopped coriander leaves and stir well.
Sauté until the coriander leaves shrink in size and remove from flame before it change its green colour.
Blend everything to a smooth paste by adding a little water.
Serve with idli or dosa.
Note:
You can add ginger and garlic too.
