I love this so much but have tasted only few times. Whenever i go to a place near kanyakumari, I get a chance to eat this fritters. I never thought I will make this at home some day. I'm very happy about the result. Everyone at home liked this snack. Please try this and let me know how it turned out...
Stuffed Banana Fritters

Ingredients:
Banana - 3
Oil - for deep frying
For filling:
Poha / Aval - 1/2 cup
Coconut(grated) - 1/2 cup
Jaggery / Sugar - 2 tblspn
Cardamom - a generous pinch
Ghee - 2 tsp
For batter:
All purpose flour / Maida - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1 tsp (optional)
Baking soda - a pinch
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 1 tblspn
Salt - to taste
Water - 3/4 cup
Method:
Heat
ghee in a pan, add grated coconut. Fry for a minute and add poha,
grated jaggery, cardamom powder. Cook until it becomes dry.
Prepare the thick batter by adding the ingredients listed under "for batter". Set them aside.
Now
cut the banana as shown in the picture(cut a triangle lengthwise). Fill
the banana with the stuffing prepared and cover it back with the batter
and give a nice coating.
Heat oil in a frying pan. Once it becomes hot, dip the stuffed banana into the batter and fry them into golden color.
Transfer it to a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Serve hot. Enjoy!

Now, In a large mixing bowl, take maida, rice flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and turmeric. Combine everything together |
Add 3/4th cup of water to the mixture and mix well |

Now cut a small piece of triangle as shown in the picture |
Fill the banana with the stuffing prepared |
Cover it with the same piece and give a nice coating with the batter prepared |
Heat oil in a pan and fry the banana until golden brown |
