Soaking Time: 2hrs | Cooking Time: 15 mins | Serves: 3

Ingredients:

Peanut - 1 cup
Tomato - 1, deseed and chop
Onion - 1, medium
Raw Mango - 2 tblspn
Carrot - 1/4 cup
Green chillies - 1
Coriander leaves - to garnish
Lemon juice - as per your taste

Spice powders:

Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste

Method:

Soak the peanut for 2 hours and pressure cook adding little salt till it becomes tender.

Deseed the tomato and finely chop tomato, onion and mango. Grate some carrots.

In a large mixing bowl, take peanut, tomato, onion, chilli, mango, chilli powder and combine everything together.

Check for salt and add if required.

Squeeze lemon juice over it and give it a good mix. Garnish with coriander leaves and grated carrot.

Sprinkle some chaat masala on the top.

It's ready to serve.

Note:
  • If you add onion at the beginning it will leave some water and have sharp and pungent taste. So you can add on top while serving.

Soak Peanuts for 2 hours
Cook till tender
Pressure cook till til becomes tender adding little salt

Deseed the tomato. Finely chop green chilli, tomato, onion and coriander leaves. Grate some carrot and raw mango.

Now take the cooked peanut in a bowl and add in the following ingredient one by one. Add tomato

Add in onion and green chilli. Sometimes if you add onion at the beginning it will leave some water and have sharp and pungent taste. So you can add on top while serving.

add chilli powder
Add very little chilli powder. When you mix the taste will be mild but later it will may become very spicy. So just add 1/4 tsp chilli powder

Mix everything together

Add some grated coconut and coriander leaves. You can add this just before serving
lemon juice
Squeeze some lemon juice. This is totally up to your taste
Peanut Salad
Sprinkle little chaat masala on the top and serve
