Paneer Bhurji
Ingredients:
Crumbled Paneer - 200 gms
Onion - 1, large
Tomato - 1
Capsicum - 1, any colour
Green Chilli - 1
Cumin - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - to garnish
Salt - to taste.
Butter / Ghee / Oil - 2 tblspn
Method:
Finely chop onion, tomato and green chillies. Crumble the paneer and chop capsicum.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. When it begins to crackle, add the finely chopped green chilli and onion.
When onion becomes translucent, add the capsicum. After 1 or 2 minutes add the chopped tomato. Sauté until it becomes mushy.
Add the ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and stir well till raw smell goes off.
Now add the paneer, salt to taste and give it a good mix. Stir well for 2 minutes and remove from flame. Garnish with some coriander leaves.
Serve hot with chapati.
Note:
- If you do not want capsicum in your recipe just skip it. And if you want it to be more crunchy, add if when tomato becomes mushy.
- To crumble the paneer, just give them a pulse in a mixer.
- You can add lemon juice at the end.
- Peas and carrots can also be added. If you want it to be more simple, just add onion, tomato along with spice powders.

Mix them well and stir fry till the raw smell goes off |
Then add the crumbled paneer |
and salt. Give them a good mix and cook for 2 to 3 mins. Remove from flame |
