Spicy Moroccan Prawn | Chermoula Prawn

Ingredients:
Prawn - 400 gm
Garlic - 4
Green chilli - 1
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tblspn
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Lemon - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Coriander leaves - 2 tblspn
Olive oil - 3 tblspn
Optional Ingredients:
Onion - 1, cubed
Capsicum - 1/2, diced
Tomato - 1, deseeded
Method:
In
a large bowl, take oil, crushed garlic, chilli powder, black pepper, cumin powder,
ginger garlic paste, turmeric, green chilli, lemon juice, coriander
leaves and salt. Combine everything together.
Remove the head and shells of the prawn and marinate in the above spice mix. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Soak the skewers in water for 15 mins. Skewer the prawn, onion and capsicum. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
Serve with lemon wedges!
Note:
- You can also shallow fry the prawn in a tawa.
- You can add little parsley to this.

Remove the head and shells of the prawn, clean it twice and take it in a large bowl, add chopped green chilli

Add chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper powder and turmeric. |

Add in ginger garlic paste |
Add some coriander leaves |
2 tsp of lemon juice is added |
Add little olive oil |
Combine everything together |
Refrigerate for 2 hours. |

Grill for 3 minutes on each side. Drizzle little oil or butter while grilling(You can also shallow fry it in tawa) |
Serve with lemon wedges and mint chutney!
