Sliced Potato Fry

Is your child a fussy eater? Are they extremely stubborn when it comes to food. Just try this recipe. I hope they will like it. You can simply give them as a finger food. This is an easiest potato recipe and can be done in a giffy. 
How to make Sliced Potato Fry

 Simple Potato Fry / Sliced Potato Fry Recipe


Potato - 2
Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Salt - as needed
Oil - 3 tblspn


Chop potatoes into thick slices.

In a bowl, place the sliced potatoes and in red chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Mix it well.

Cover it with a cling wrap and refrigerate for 30 mins or simply rest it away.

Heat oil in a pan, place the potatoes. Cook it by turning both sides.

Serve with curd rice or rasam, rice.

  • Do not add water while marinating as it will leave some water.
  • Adjust chilli powder as per your taste.


Keep all your ingredients ready
Add chilli powder, turmeric and salt to the sliced potatoes
Refrigerate it
Mix it well and refrigerate for 30 mins
shallow fry
Heat oil in a pan, add sliced potatoes
turn other side
After 2 mins turn it to the other side. When both the sides are cooked remove from flame
