To prepare this at home, we can use oven, sandwich maker grill or a grill pan. Today, I have made my tikka in my sandwich maker. I always love to make chicken tikka in it as this method is very easier. You will also get a nice smoky flavor. But in grill pan we may not get the smoky effect.

- Alternatively, preheat the oven to 240 C and grill for 20 mins. Flip to the other side in between to cook evenly.
- Soaking wooden skewer is to avoid burning. So do not skip it.
- Adding food color is optional. I don't prefer it.
- You can sprinkle some chat masala on the top.
