I have got a treat for you today. Cinnamon Rolls or cinnamon bun is a light and fluffy bread made with fresh cinnamon powder along with other ingredients for a bread. Nobody can say no to this delicious roll. Is there anything better than a warm and freshly baked roll. It is my family favourite recipe. My son will simply ask for it everyday. Even though I have self control over sweets I am succumbed to these rolls. I like my rolls to be little bready so rolled it thicker. You can make it thinner too. These rolls are glazed with thin and creamy cream cheese glaze. If you do not have cream cheese, you can opt for powdered sugar glaze. These rolls are super simple to make and sure to please your sweet tooth.
I bet you will surely enjoy this cinnamon buns.

Salt - 1/8 tsp Method: In a small bowl take lukewarm water, add yeast and a teaspoon of sugar to help activate the yeast. Keep aside for 5 to 10 minutes to get a nice foamy mixture. In a large bowl, crack two eggs and whisk it till it is combined well. Then add in butter, warm milk and half a cup of sugar. Whisk it till it is incorporated well. Add the yeast mixture and mix well. Now, add the all purpose flour and salt to the above yeast butter mixture. Knead the dough well for 10 minutes. Place the dough in a bowl and brush some oil on the top. Cover with a damp cloth or cling wrap and let it rise for about 1.5 hours in a warm place or till the dough has doubled its size. Once the dough is doubled, take it and roll the dough with the help of a rolling pin approximately 16X12 inches with 1/4 inch thickness. Spread the 1/3 cup butter mentioned for filling on the top of the rolled dough. Mix 3 tablespoon of cinnamon powder to 3/4 cup of brown sugar and mix it well. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly on the top. Carefully roll the dough lengthwise to the bottom down. Seal the edges to avoid opening while baking. Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal sized slices and place it in a greased pan. Cover the baking pan with a aluminium foil and let it sit for 1 hour in a warm place to rise the dough slices. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or till it becomes golden brown. While the rolls are baking in the oven, prepare the glaze. Take cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, salt and vannilla extract in a bowl. Beat well to get a fluffy and creamy mixture. Finally, add 4 tablespoon of milk to get a runny texture.(If you do not have cream cheese, you can add powdered sugar glaze on the top) Pour this glaze over the cinnamon rolls and enjoy the fresh delicious cinnamon rolls. Note:
Use yeast, butter, egg, flour and cream cheese at room temperature.
If your dough did not rise, check your yeast expiration date. If your yeast is not frothing properly, it is expired one.
Keep the used yeast packages in cool and dry place or in the fridge.
Do not use hot milk as it will kill the yeast. If the milk is too cold the yeast will not rise. The temperature of milk should be between 105 F to 110 F. and not above 110 F
If the yeast mixture did not froth stop with this step and get a fresh yeast and make the cinnamon rolls.
You can store the rolled slices in the fridge covered with a cling wrap and start baking the rolls freshly in the morning. Dough will rise even in the fridge. If it does not rise, heat the oven to 200 F, turn it off and then place the baking tin with the rolls to double its size.
