Mazedar Chicken

Ingredients:
Chicken - 250 gm
Onion - 2
Tomato - 1
Green chilli - 3
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Garlic cloves - 4
Black pepper powder - 1 tblspn
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 2 tblspn
Salt - to taste
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Coriander leaves - to garnish
Oil - 3 tblspn
Method:
In a vessel, take chopped onion, tomato, green chilli, little water and bring it to boil. Once cooked, cool down and grind it to a smooth paste.
In a pan, heat little oil and add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder and sauté for 15 seconds.
Add in chicken pieces, salt to taste and sauté for a minute. Then add the grinded paste and cook till oil separates.
Then, add in pepper powder, curry leaves, lemon juice. Once done, add the chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rasam rice, biryani, pulav or chapati.

Once it becomes dry and cooked witch off the flame |
Serve hot with rasam rice, biryani, pulav or chapati. |
