Chicken Bezule with step by step pictures
Chicken Bezule is a mangalorean street food recipe made using tender chicken. Here the chicken pieces are marinated like the usual frying method along with ground coriander, curry leaves and green chilli paste. I love the flavor of coriander and curry leaves in the chicken. You can fry it twice to make it more crispier.

Ingredients:

Chicken - 1/4 kg
Chilli powder - 1.5 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tblspn
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp, optional
All purpose flour / Maida - 1.5 tblspn
Rice flour - 1.5 tblspn
Curd - 1 tblspn
Lemon juice - 1 tblspn
Red food color - a pinch
Salt - to taste

To grind:

Coriander Leaves - 1/4 cup
Curry leaves - few
Green chilli - 2

Method:

Grind coriander leaves, curry leaves and green chilli.

In a mixing bowl, take chicken. Add the ground paste, chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, curd, salt and a pinch of red food color.

Mix everything and refrigerate for 3 hours. Add in rice flour and all purpose flour and mix it well.

Heat oil for deep frying. Once oil becomes hot, turn the flame to medium and drop the chicken pieces. When the chicken gets cooked, transfer it to a paper towel.

Serve with onion slices. Enjoy!
