Fish fry Recipe
Fish fry is something which is liked by all fish lovers. As it absorbs more oil while frying, I often used to make it as thoran. Even my hubby and brother emphasize me to make it as thoran. Rarely I shallow fry them, I never deep fry the fish. Today my son asked for "chicken fish" which means fish fry in his language. So I specially made this for him.

How to make fish fry

Fish fry

Prep Time: 5 mins | Cooking Time: 10 mins

Ingredients:

Seer Fish - 5 pieces
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Corn flour - 1 tblspn
Lemon juice - 1 tblspn
Salt - to taste
Oil - to shallow fry

Method:

Clean the fish and take it in a mixing bowl.

To this, add in all the ingredients except oil. Coat the fish with the masala and arinate it for 10 mins.

In a pan, heat oil to shallow fry. Fry on both sides till it is cooked. You can check using a knife or fork. If it goes into the fish easily, it is cooked.

Drain in a paper towel and serve!

Keep all your ingredients ready. Clean the fish

In a large mixing bowl, take fish. Add in everything except oil (corn flour, chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric and lemon juice)
coat it
Coat the fish with the masala and marinate for 10 mins
shallow fry
Heat oil to shallow fry and place the fish on it
flip and fry
When one side is cooked, flip to the other the other side and cook until done
